Lake Tahoe heli tour

It is so rare in my case to spend a vacation with my family. My brother took me to a Helicopter Tour in Lake Tahoe, it was the second helicopter ride that I had since High School I felt safe that it looked so fine or rather that there’s a minimal chance of getting into a crash. George the helicopter driver said that the our transport is one of the quietest helicopter. It was only about 10 minutes later after the take off when I realized that the helicopter wasn’t noisy. We still wore the headsets to to maximize the comfort, although it wasn’t that scratchy, dominating type of noise that you would use to hear in an old military-like helicopter. We departed from the South Lake Tahoe airport and the views were the famous Emerald bay, Meeks Bay and Tahoe City. The Emerald Bay was unforgettable I felt like I was just a tiny ant above a large crystal blue waters of the bay. I forgot to mention that the helicopter can accommodate 3 passengers making it fantastic to get views straight from the window. Heading east we enjoyed the views of: Kings Beach and Cal-Neva Resort. And when its time to head back to the airport there goes the Cave Rock, Zephyr and the casinos (which Lake Tahoe is also famous of).   The ride was excellent except that we departed about 20 minutes late from the scheduled time. Summing up, driving from Las Vegas to South Lake Tahoe was not a bad idea. It was the best aerial view that I’ve probably seen not because it was my second time to ride the helicopter but because the bay views and Lake Tahoe was really amazing from the top. It wasn’t lite on my brother’s pocket but that ride doesn’t happen everyday. We took the night in South Lake Tahoe, got a Campground by the Lake in Rufus Allen Blvd. (be careful if you too plan to camp in this site, make sure you make a reservation and that your plans should be between April through October). We paid about $150 for six people and our RV. Stayed there for a week BUT without electricity I guess that’s roughly $220 with electricity. And I was expected to give a dollar a night for bringing my dog. For a week stay I never missed swimming, bicycling and walking with my dog at the dog park. Now my legs are stronger. Hahaha. While my dad and my brother never missed an attendance at the golf course. A week of vacation finally went over and going back to Las Vegas means no less than a nine hour drive. __________________________ Greengirl Sydney traveling New-Zealand, Australia and USA US RV rental | USA RV rental
